SHIRIPUNO
PROGRAM MAGIC CANOPY 4 DAYS / 3 NIGHTS
DAY
01.- Quito-Coca by airplane (depart 09:30 the same day) or by
public bus (must leave one day before). We'll travel by small pick up
or by bus to Shiripuno Bridge( 3 hrs aprox.). Lunch. Then we'll
take the motorized canoe downstream, to reach the campsite at 180 m.a.s,
the ride will take 4 hours of great chance to get introduce to the wide diversity of the wildlife of the rainforest. Dinner and lodging .
DAY 02.- Breakfast. We'll take a hike ( 3-4 hrs.) in
the primary forest to the magic canopy, the scenary view of the Amazon
at 250 m.a.s. with an indian and a naturalist guide, they will give you
explanation about the biodiversity of the rainforest and the medicinal
plants that local people use, this hike requires a good physical condition.
Lunch. In the afternoon piranha fishing. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 03.- Breakfast, Then we'll go to the oxbow lake
where is possible to see different kind of plants and animals. Lunch. In the afternoon we will take the motor canoe and make an excursion
into one of the small rivers where is possible to see different species
of birds, specially the bizzard looking Hoatzin. Dinner. Night excursion
to get into to the night life of the forest and try to see caimans. Lodging
.
DAY 04.- After breakfast navigation upstream to the
Huaorani Comunity (Neoneno), where you will have the oportunity to know
about their traditions and costums. Lunch. We'll continue the navigation
upstream to the bridge where we are going to take the bus back
to Coca (arrival at 17:30 aprox.).
The guide can help you to book the hotel in Coca or give information
about the buses schedule to Quito. The program is flexible and some changes
may happen, depending on , weather or tourist interests.
SHIRIPUNO PROGRAM SALT LICK 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

and plants that local people use as a natural medicine, this hike requires
a good physical condition. Lunch. In the afternoon piranha fishing.

DAY 03.- Birdwatching (05:45 optional) Breakfast. We'll
take a hike to el saladero (salt lick) where sometimes
there is a chance to find the animals licking minerals and admire the
richness of plants and trees. Box lunch. In the afternoon we will
back to the campsite. Night excursions to get into the night life of the
forest and try to see caimans. Dinner and lodging.
DAY 04.- Breakfast, Then we'll go to the oxbow lake where
is possible to see different species of plants and animals. Lunch.
In the afternoon we will take the motorized canoe and go to one of the
small rivers where is possible to see a lot of birds, specially the bizzard

DAY 05.- After breakfast navigation to the Huaorani Comunity

SHIRIPUNO
- CONONACO - SHIRIPUNO EL ULTIMO PARAISO 8 DIAS / 7 NOCHES
DIA
01.- Quito Coca, ( 9:30 por avión el mismo día)
o en bus público tendrá que salir el día anterior,
traslado al puente del Río Shiripuno. Lunch. Por
la tarde navegaremos hasta el lugar donde se realizará el campamento,
en el trayecto se tendrá la oportunidad de observar papagayos,
tucanes, loras, monos así como la espesa vegetación de la
selva amazónica. Cena y alojamiento en carpas.
DIA 02.- Después del desayuno caminata en el bosque
primario por un guía indígnea, en la cual se dará
una explicación sobre las plantas utilizadas como medicina natural
, también se hará la demostración del uso de la cerbatana,
instrumento utilizado para la cacería. Lunch.
Por la tarde pesca deportiva de pirañas. Después
de la cena excursión en canoas para observar caimanes.
DIA 03.- Desayuno. Continuaremos la navegación
del río Shiripuno hasta la desembocadura en el Cononaco. Lunch.
Por la tarde caminata en la selva o pesca de pirañas (opcional).
Excursión nocturna en los alrededores del campamento para
observar insectos. Cena y alojamiento en carpas.
DIA 04.- Desayuno. Navegación hasta Sandoval,
donde encontraremos la comunidad indígenas más primitiva
y lejana de la selva. Lunch. Por la tarde visita al poblado
donde se podrá admirar sus costumbres, tradiciones y artesanías.
Cena y alojamiento en carpas.
DIA 05.- Después del desayuno demostración
realizada por un guía indígena sobre la elaboración
del Curare, veneno utilizado en los dardos a través de la cerbatana
para cacería de animales. Cena. Excursión nocturna para
observar insectos. (opcional)
DIA 06.- Desayuno. Navegación río
arriba para volver al Puente. Combinaremos la navegación con caminatas
en la selva. Cena y alojamiento en carpas.
DIA 07.- Desayuno, es el mismo programa del día
anterior.
DIA 08.- Arribo al puente de donde nuestro tranporte
nos llevará de regreso al Coca de donde se tomará el vuelo
a Quito.
El guía puede ayudarle a reservar el hotel en Coca y darle
información de los horarios de buses a Quito. El programa es flexible
y algunos cambios pueden haber dependiendo de las condiciones climáticas
o los intereses de los turistas
SHIRIPUNO/CONONACO
8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS
DAY

we'll take the motorized canoe down stream to reach the campsite at 180
m.a.s, the ride will take 4 hours, And you'll have a great chance
to get introduce to the wide diversity of wildlife of the rainforest.
Dinner, Night hike and lodging .
DAY 02.- Breakfast. Hike into the primary forest to the
magic canopy, scenary view of the Amazon at 250 m.a.s. ( duration: 4 or
5 hours). With native and naturalist guides, they'll explain to
you about the plants that been using as natural medicine and natural history
of Amazon Rainforest Lunch. Ride down river by motorized
canoe to the next campsite. Dinner. Night excursion by canoes to search
caimans.
DAY 03.- Breakfast. Hike to el saladero (salt lick),
there is a chance to find and admire the wildlife like parrots, toucans,
monkeys and so on. Lunch. Ride down river to a native family, curare demostration. We'll go to over night for the rest of the time at this place..
Dinner and lodging in tents.
DAY 04.- Breakfast, Hiking with a local hunter to demonstrate
to you their skills of living along with the forest Lunch. Return
upstream to reach the las campsite. Dinner and lodging in tents.
DAY 05.- Breakfast. Visit by canoe to the Salt
Lick at Cononaco Chico River, great birds variety. Return upstream to
the next campsite. Dinner. Night excursion to see hidding world
of the insects (optional).
DAY 06.- Breakfast, navigation upstream to get close
to the bridge. We will combined the canoe ride with hike into the forest.
Dinner and lodging in tents.
DAY 07.- Breakfast, We'll continue the navigation upstream
until Neoneno another Huaorani comminity, here you will be able to take
pictures and see and learn about their tradtions and costums. Arrival
to the bridge where our car will take us back to Coca. Arrival time 18:00
hrs aprox.
NOTE:
Depending on water level of the river, we may get Bameno Community and
the passanger have to accept to navigate for long period of time everyday
and if the passanger want to hunt. Remember only is allowed with arrow
and bow and have to pay $200 per hunted animal and only
is goin to possible on the 4th day. We suggest the hunting with
the presence of local hunters because it is a super-fragil reserve where
a big amount of its species are in the way to exctintion.
