CUENCACOTOPAXI - RIOBAMBA - DEVILS NOSE - INGAPIRCA - CUENCA
Day 1.-Morning drive south along the "Avenue of the Volcanoes". After we'll visit snow capped volcano the Cotopaxi the highest active volcano in the world (19347ft/5897m). where we'll have a hike. After lunch in the Limpiopungo lagoon (12540ft/3800m) we'll ascent to the parking lot (15180ft/4500m). From this point we'll hike for about an hour to the volcano's refuge lodge (15840ft/4600m).Continue our trip to Riobamba if is possible visiting on road a local indian market. Day 2.-Early in the morning we’ll go to the train station to start our trip to Alausi crossing small villages like Guamote and the famous Devil’s nose. Continue by car to Cuenca visiting on road the Ingapirca Ruins the most important archeological site of Ecuador . (Over night Cuenca )
Day 3.- After breakfast panoramic sighseeing Cuenca and visit the amazing landscape of El Cajas lakes At 9990 ft. above sea level, This volcanic landscape is an ideal place for nature lovers. Return to Cuenca airport. Optional - Gualaceo / Chordeleg
