CUYABENO
WILDLIFE RESERVE ( 4 DAYS - 3 NIGHTS )
DAY 1.- Quito- Nueva Loja by plane or ( bus, one day before ) - transportation
towards to Puente Cuyabeno ( 3 to 4 hours ). After lunch we will continue
by dug-out motorized canoe along. Cuyabeno river, until we reach our campsite,
close to the Laguna grande. Dinner and overnight in the Camp
.
DAY 2.- After breakfast, walking in the forests with
our certified naturalist guide who explains you about the dynamic of the Amazonian
forest, the path took us toward to Puerto Bolivar where the Siona community
lives. We'll have the chance to see their lifestyle and to learn about their
costumes. Lunch and resting time. In the afternoon we'll take a trip by motorized
canoe to the flooded Igapo forest which has the main presence of macrolobyum
dead - like trees with abundant epiphytes. There its possible to spot the
active birds and monkeys around this place. Dinner. Overnight in
the Camp .
DAY 3.- We awake early in the morning for bird and wildlife
watching. After breakfast we travel by motorized canoe, short walk in through
a firm land forest. Time to swim in the lake. Lunch time to rest. In the afternoon,
time to fish, and to enjoy the Lake area. At night we'll have the chance to
see and hear the nocturnal activity of animals such as caimans (alligator
family) . dinner and overnight in the Camp.
DAY 4.- After and early breakfast we travel by canoe up river
to el Puente where out transportation will take us to Nueva Loja for our departure
flight/bus to Quito.
CUYABENO
WILDLIFE RESERVE ( 5 DAYS - 4 NIGHTS )
DAY 1.- Departure 11:00 travel from Lago Agrio- transportation towards
to Puente Cuyabeno (3 to 4 hours). After lunch we will continue by dug-out
motorized canoe along Cuyabeno river., until we reach our campsite, close
to the Laguna Grande. In the big lagoon we'll take a
Swim, later having dinner and overnight in the Camp.
DAY 2.- After breakfast, walking in the forests with your certified
naturalist guide who explains you about the dynamic of the Amazonian
forest; lunch an resting time; in the afternoon we'll take a trip by motorized
canoe to the flooded Igapo forest which has the main presence of Macrolobyum
dead-like trees whit abundant epiphytes. There its possible to stop the active
birds and monkeys around this place. Dinner. At night we'll have he chance
to see and hear the nocturnal activity of animals such as caimans (alligator
family), night birds and insects. Overnight in the Camp.
DAY 3.- After breakfast we navigates downstream until meeting
the path that took us toward to Puerto Bolivar where the Siona community lives.
We'll have the chance to see their lifestyle and to learn about their costumes
. Return to Hot spots camp. In the afternoon we will take the canoe to visit
part of the lagoons complex to observe flora and fauna. Also we have the opportunity
to practice sport fishing as well as enjoy a refreshing swimming in
Laguna Grande. Diner and overnight in the Camp.
DAY 4.- We awake early in the morning for bird and wildlife
watching . After breakfast we travel by motorized canoe another lagoon
where we navigate for the surroundings of the lagoon whit the out motor
for not perturbing the native fauna at this place of maximum protection .
Lunch. In the afternoon we have a short walk through a firm land forest.
Special last night Dinner in the Camp.
DAY 5.- After an early breakfast we travel by canoe up river
to El Puente where our transportation will take us to Lago Agrio for our departure
flight / bus to Quito .
INDIAN
COMMUNITY AND CUYABENO WILDLIFE RESERVE (6 DAYS / 5 NIGHT)
DAY
1.- Quito-Lago Agrio by plane where we take the transportation toward
to Chiritza Port. After lunch we will continue by dug-out motorized canoe
along Aguarico river until we reach the Secoya community where we have our
lodging and a short walking for the surroundings of the village where we have
chance to see their lifestyle and to learn about their costumes .
DAY 2.- After breakfast we continue navigating downstream
Aguarico river observing the characteristic of the forest growing along this
big river (white waters) as well as bird life . We get the lunch in
one of the beaches of the river. Arriving to the mouth of Cuyabeno
river (black waters) with Aguarico and continue navigating to one of
the campsites that belong to the Quichua community . After dinner we
have an exciting short night walk into the forest to listen the different
sounds of insects and animals.
DAY 3.- We awake early in the morning for bird watching in
the tower of 25 meters and the breakfast we continue navigating upstream Cuyabeno
river until reach our next campsite. We have a lunch and resting time
an during the afternoon we take a trip by motorized canoe to the flooded Igapo
forest which has the presence of Macrolobyum dead-like trees with abundant
epiphytes. There is possible to spot the active birds and monkeys around this
place, there we have the opportunity to practice sport fishing (optional)
as well as enjoy a refreshing swimming in Laguna Grande. Dinner and overnight
in the Camp.

After lunch we travel by motorized canoe to Canangueno lagoon where we navigate
for the surroundings of the lagoon whit the out motor for not perturbing the
native fauna at this place of maximum protection. Perhaps we have the opportunity
to see the mythic fresh water dolphin. After dinner we have the chance to
see and hear the nocturnal activity of animals such as caimans (alligator
family), night birds and insects.Overnight in the Camp .
DAY 5.-After breakfast, we are going to make a walking in
the firm land forest which is surrounded by water and having the opportunity
to find some animal activity in this kind of forest. After lunch we
navigate toward to El Puente where we have the dinner and overnight.
DAY 6.-After breakfast, early in the morning our transportation
will take us to Lago Agrio for our departure Flight/bus to Quito. |
