Guagua Pichincha Volcano - 1 day
Early in the morning we'll drive to the northwest to the village of el Cinto then to the village of Lloa .From there we drive up to the Refuge of Guagua Pichincha Volcano (4794 m), then a short hike brings us out on the rim of the active crater to see steaming fumarols degassing, the occasional explosion, landslide and thermal spring can be seen all around. After lunch we hike cross country to El Padre Encantado and then down hill into the farmlands above Lloa. Return to Quito.

Trip to the south Panamerican highway, also called "the avenue of the volcanoes" to the National park of the Cotopaxi, an ecological sanctuary, that is located at foot of the highest active snowcapped volcano of the world. The trip goes on to the lake of Limpiopungo. Visit to an Indian market of the region.
