Itineraries 1 AND 2 combined.
Day 01 After breakfast, we will go deep inside in the jungle till a small river surrounded by stones, sand, clay and other elements. In this place the guides will show us the techniques and instruments for the practice of the gold pan. After lunch we will visit the Socali path, characterized for a variety of different jungle lands, This path is use like an introduction trail to learn about the flora and fauna that is possible to find in different types of forest. Return to the lodge to have the dinner and resting time.
Day 02. After breakfast we will visit the Capibara path. An adventure trail with many swamps. In this trail you will see some palm trees that is not possible to see in other places. Return to the lodge to take the lunch. After lunch we will take the Tucan trail, this trail will take us till one of the tallest bird watching towers of the Ecuadorian jungle. On the canopy we will stay some minutes watching some species of birds of high altitudes. Return to the lodge, dinner and resting time
Day 03. After breakfast we will take the motor boat to go out of the borders of our reserve and visit an indigenous family of the Quichuas del Oriente community. Our guides will talk you about traditions and costumes of these tribes. Return to the lodge for lunch. Late in the afternoon with out rubber boots and wearing comfortable dresses (shorts is recommended). The local guides are going to teach us how to use the blowpipe. After this activity we will take a small canoe to enjoy with the piranha fishing. Return to the lodge to take the dinner. Resting time.
DAY 04. Early in the morning departure in a canoe from the Yarina Ecological Reserve to Coca in order to catch the return flight to Quito.
City & Equatorial Monument
After breakfast, visit the broad avenues of the northern residential section. Continue to Independence Plaza, the Government Palace, La Compañía and San Francisco Churches. A few miles north of Quito is the Equatorial Monument at latitude 0 00' 00'' which marks the place where an 18th century expedition established the exact geodesic position of the Equator. This is a wonderful oppo rtunity to be in two hemispheres at the same time. Visit the monument and its ethnography museum. Return to Quito. ( Lunch and dinner on own).

Otavalo Indian Market
After breakfast, depart to the north, via the Pan American Highway , to cross the equatorial line at Cayambe with a stop at Calderon's "bread doll" village. Then continue to Otavalo. Visit the South America 's famous Indian fair. The Otavalo Indians are the most ambitious and prosperous craftsmen/merchants in Ecuador . Ponchos, wooden goods, and Indian jewelry are sold here. Then visit the small Indian towns of: Peguche, known for their weavers and Cotacachi, known for its genuine leather work (optional visit to Cuicocha lagoon). Return to Quito
